I’m a Cornish actress, singer and voiceover artist who lives in London but jumps at any chance to work back home in the West Country. I have two exhausting sons and like to create my own work whenever they give me the chance!

2017 has been busy with audiobooks, including the Topsy and Tim series of children’s books for Penguin, and Philippa Gregory’s The Favoured Child.

About Me

I was born and bred in Cornwall and abandoned the big sea for the big smoke at 17 to train at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London.

My theatre credits range from an adolescent boy, to a Shakespeare heroine, to a Cornish maid; whilst on TV I have played a drunken witch in Casualty, been shot and killed in Holby and played a number of Mothers in Doc Martin.

I regularly record audiobooks, you can listen to excerpts of some of them on Amazon. In 2015 the recording of The American Lover (a collection of short stories by Rose Tremain that I contributed to) was named one of the twenty best audiobooks of all time!

I love to travel and have performed all over the world. I play the clarinet, alto sax and ukulele, and sing pretty well too; for an audio clip of me singing, see the bottom of my voice reel page.

Whenever I get the time and the head space I continue to develop my solo show Blondes Prefer Gentlemen about an obsessive fan of Marilyn Monroe. You can watch the trailer here.

Aside from acting I enjoy anything outdoorsy that gets my heart pumping, yoga, diving, meditation and running around after my little boys, Gillan and Arty.

Please refer to the contacts page should you wish to get in touch, I’d love to hear from you!
